Some of the conditions treated by Dr. Joseph include Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Dementia, Memory Loss and related Behavioral Concerns to name a few.  She will work with you to find the right treatment, whether it be medication, therapy or a combination of both.  Dr. Joseph's philosophy is to use the least amount of medication needed and to limit the number of medications used. 

Treatment with a Psychiatrist that doesn't accept insurance, means patients are seen within week, not months.   Leading to a better treatment experience, with more direct access to your Psychiatrist.  Appointments can be scheduled quickly and conveniently, with limited wait times.  Dr. Joseph will be in direct charge of your care, whether it is coordinating care with your therapist, other medical doctors, or overseeing blood work and other medical needs.  Extended family sessions are available if needed.  

Geriatric Psychiatrists are specially trained in Medical and Psychiatric conditions that occur in the Older Adult population or in cases where there is Memory Loss.  Additionally, due to specialized medical training, a Geriatric Psychiatrist often works in conjunction with other specialities to optimize care in cases of Chronic Illness, including but not limited to Multiple Sclerosis, Seizure Disorder, Autoimmune Disorders, and Parkinson's Disease to name a few. Not all Geriatric Psychiatrist are Board Certified.  Check your Psychiatrists Certification status here.

The short answer is no, we don't accept any insurance.  After years of dealing with Insurance Companies, and seeing the limitations placed on providing the best patient care, we have decided against accepting Insurance.  At Inlet Psychiatry, treatment is personal and without compromise.  You work directly with a Psychiatrist, that is dedicated to you and not a third party.  The exclusivity we provide comes with confidentiality and the utmost in privacy.

As an Out of Network (OON) provider, rendered services are often fully or partially reimbursed by your Insurance Company.  If needed, a Superbill with all necessary information can be provided to you after your visit.  Please inquire directly with your Insurance Company regarding coverage and the process for reimbursement.

We do not accept Medicare, but you may be able to submit to your secondary Insurance Provider for Out of Network (OON) benefits.  Dr. Joseph has opted out of Medicare and Medicare will not reimburse you for any claims made for her services.

All charges are made through the Luminello EMR/EHR portal, up to 24hrs prior to your scheduled visit.  We are HIPAA & PCI Compliant - Accepting all Major Credit Cards.
